Only forty men will be chosen. We are not looking for perfect men - we are looking for men willing to step forward, be sharpened, and become who God created them to be.
Five days in the Montana mountains that will demand everything and a founding brotherhood that will never open its doors this way again.
31 of 40 seats remain · reviewed in the order received · enrollment closes the moment they’re filled
Sixty seconds from the men who built it and what five days in the mountains will demand of you.
Battleworn Legacy was built for men who know there is more in them men ready to confront what’s been holding them back and step into a higher level of faith, discipline, accountability, leadership, and brotherhood. It will ask more of you than you are comfortable giving.
Every man is building a foundation, whether he means to or not. Battleworn is built on four cornerstones the PATH every man is called to walk.
Confront why you were made and Who you were made for. The cornerstone every other one is set on.
Step into the role you were given. Lead your home and your world instead of drifting through them.
Forge the discipline to keep standing when it's hard in body, mind, and faith. Worn, but not broken.
Live by your word and steward what you've been given your name, your resources, and your provision for those who depend on you.
Over five days, each cornerstone shows you where you’re strong, where you’ve drifted, and where God may be calling you to rebuild with purpose.
Training. Faith. Fire. The land. Brotherhood forged in real challenge not a hotel ballroom.
You won’t be led by motivational speakers. You’ll be led by men forged in the most demanding arenas there are and they decide who’s ready to stand beside them.
By the world’s standards, Trent McMurtrey has experienced a measure of success. He served in the military, built several businesses from the ground up, earned two master’s degrees, and has been an entrepreneur since his late twenties. Over time, he was able to structure his businesses in a way that gave him the freedom to travel the country with his family without allowing work to consume his life. Yet he has learned that none of those accomplishments can define a man or provide lasting purpose.
For years, Trent placed too much value on achievement, recognition, and success. It was only through failure, correction, and surrender that he began to understand his identity was never meant to rest in what he had accomplished, but in who he belongs to. What changed his life was not another title, degree, or business milestone. It was surrendering his life to God and allowing Him to rebuild what had been out of order.
Battleworn Legacy was not created because Trent had everything figured out. It was born from his own mistakes, struggles, and continued growth. He understands what it means to drift, pursue the wrong things, and discover that outward success can still leave a man empty when his foundation is weak.
Today, Trent strives to place his faith first and to faithfully lead, love, and serve his wife and children. Battleworn Legacy exists to walk alongside men who are ready to stop defining themselves by titles, money, performance, or past pain and begin rebuilding their lives on biblical truth, discipline, purpose, and surrender to God.
Follower of Christ, devoted husband, and father to three sons. His identity is not found in titles, achievements, or past roles, but in Christ alone. Through seasons of success, failure, mistakes, and refinement, he has seen firsthand the steady grace of God restore, equip, and forge a manfor greater purpose.
A former law enforcement professional, he brings experience in tactical operations, lawenforcement training, and violent crime investigations, where he was shaped by the demands of high pressure environments, leadership, and discipline.

Battleworn is not first come, first served, and it is not for sale to anyone with a credit card. Seats go to the right men. Here’s how a founding member is selected.
Submit your application. It takes a few honest minutes and it costs nothing to be considered.
Every application is read personally by the team. Not all advance. We are looking for specific men.
The men who move forward are invited to speak with us directly to see if this is truly your call.
The chosen are offered a founding seat and the chance to invest. Decline, and the seat goes to the next man.
There are 40 seats across the first two cohorts. They are filling now, and they will not be reopened. Apply today every day you wait is a seat another man may take.
The 40 men accepted become the original foundation of the Battleworn brotherhood the men who shape its culture, standard, and legacy for years to come. And it doesn’t end when the five days do.
Continued experiences that keep the brotherhood sharpened year after year.
Real men holding you to the standard you committed to not a group chat.
Ongoing growth in how you lead at home, at work, and in your community.
Regular connection with men committed to walking this out together.
A faith that keeps deepening long after you fly home from Bozeman.
A brotherhood that refuses to let you drift back into average.
The only thing you arrange is travel to Bozeman, MT (airport: BZN).
It’s the line between the man you are and the man you were made to be. On the other side of it is a brotherhood most men never find and the cost of staying on this side of it is far higher than $8,500.
The faith, the discipline, the leadership you forge here don’t fade when you go home. They keep working for the rest of your life, in your marriage, in your children, and in every man who will one day follow your lead.
As founding members come through, their words go here. Until then this is your chance to be one of the voices that defines what Battleworn becomes.
Forty seats. Chosen, not sold. Across the first two cohorts. When they’re filled, this founding opportunity will not be offered again to anyone.
For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.
No man was made to walk this out alone. If something in you knows it’s time apply now.
This application is intentionally thorough. Battleworn is not built for men looking for a quick sign-up, a shortcut, or another surface-level group. We ask you to slow down, think, and answer honestly because the brotherhood you are applying to requires the same thing: time, effort, ownership, and a real commitment to becoming better. Take your time. Answer with honesty. The men who belong here will understand why it matters.
